Ukrainian Institute for Conservative Researches and Innovations participated in the Conservative Policy Forum in Kyiv

On December 6, the All-Ukrainian Forum of Conservative Politics “Security. Values. Welfare”, which was attended by delegations of republican think tanks, conservative organizations of the United States, local government leaders, journalists, military, politicians, representatives of religious communities and business, and public figures. The event was joined by the leadership and experts of the Ukrainian Institute for Conservative Studies and Innovations (UCSI). Institute expert Serhiy Chaplygin spoke at the event and shared with the audience the importance of the family issue, which is one of the key issues in Ukraine today, as the future of the nation depends on it. The US delegation consisted of more than 20 representatives. Among them were Dr. Eric Patterson, President and CEO of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, and George Barna, Director of Research at the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University,

The event included three panel discussions: 1. “The Republic of Ukraine: Values of Ukrainians, the Role and Mission of Family, Community and Church.”
2. “Development of Allied Relations between Ukraine and the United States: Conservative Partnership”
3. “The Economics of War and Recovery”. The parties discussed the importance of faith and values as the foundation of national security and well-being and outlined a common action plan for Ukrainian conservatives, the implementation of which could help strengthen Ukraine’s resilience.
