The lecture “The Phenomenon of the Ukrainian Cossacks” was given by Vladyslav Dutchak, PhD in Philosophy, historian, soldier of the Azov Brigade, author of the YouTube channel “Docent Knows.”
First of all, Vladyslav Dutchak explained the essence of the Zaporozhian Army as a leading layer of the Ukrainian people. He spoke about its hierarchy, customs, hetmans and atamans, and the mission of each part of the Cossack structure.
The lecture ended with loud, appreciative applause. In the future, UICSI plans to organize similar educational events that will not only raise the patriotic spirit in every Ukrainian, but also foster a sense of strong self-identification and belonging to the unique Ukrainian culture, traditions and customs.
