On April 16, at the initiative of the Ukrainian Institute for Conservative Researches and Innovations, a roundtable discussion“Sports and Youth Policy in Ukraine” was held in Kyiv on April 16.
It was an effective youth policy aimed at popularizing sports among the population that became the main leitmotif of the meeting of UICRI experts with famous Ukrainian athletes. The priority tasks identified by the parties include rethinking Ukraine’s youth and sports policy, changing it and transforming it.

“Our goal is to raise a topical issue for society, first of all, the education of young people through sports, which is the current sports policy, given the post-traumatic stress syndrome in Ukraine. In addition, we talked about the need to change the system of sports education and sports policy,” said Mykhailo Shevchenko, Director of the Ukrainian Institute of Conservative Researches and Innovations.
According to Olympic champion Denis Silantyev, sport is the key to success in the life of not only every person, but also society as a whole, because it is discipline, patience, and a boost of energy.
“It is important for the development of society, it is important for where they will live. It is for the development of the country in which they will live. Because sport gives you the opportunity to develop and be successful. That is, it is the responsibility of young people and their contribution to the development of the future: to their health and life,” said Denys Silantiev.

According to Volodymyr Nakornechnyi, an expert at UICRI, sports and youth are strategic areas of development in Ukraine today, because when the state does not develop youth, the street does. According to him, mold people who are integrated into sports activities have great prospects for the future.

If the state prioritizes the development of Ukraine’s youth environment and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, it will help Ukrainians gain a new driving force that will inevitably lead to victory.
